Discouraged Democrat Voters May Mean Historic Sweep for GOP - American Thinker

Most polls, Rasmussen excepted, continue to show that neither presidential candidate is pulling away from the other and that close Senate races have shifting leads.  Primary elections, however, are showing a very different situation -- and it is voters who turn out in elections, not random Americans called by pollsters, who determine the winners and losers in politics.

Is The President Being Honest About The “Student Loan Crisis?”

By Austin Hill

Is President Obama right about a looming student loan debt crisis? It depends on how you define “crisis.” But, yes, there is an actual problem. What remains to be seen is whether or not the President – or anybody else, for that matter – is willing to face the real problem in higher education.

Hugh Hewitt: The Return of Rev. Wright and the Small Donor Surge To Romney

"He is a bitter man...Jeremiah Wright is a joke...[What] Obama's crazy preacher is saying this week" is a "side show."

These quotes are from my interview Wednesday with Bloomberg View's Jonathan Alter, the transcript of which is here.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright is relevant again, and about to get even more relevant, and it will be hard for the MSM which loved the 50-year old story of alleged bullying at Cranbrook to ignore the details of what happened 50 months ago. Alter is a strong supporter of Obama and a very smart guy, and he knows this re-emergence of Wright is very bad news for the president. His dismissal of the story is a cue for every other MSM lefty.

Michael Barone: Recent News Could Cause Panic for Obama Campaign

Is it panic time at Obama headquarters in Chicago? You might get that impression from watching events -- and the polls -- over the past few weeks. In matchups against Mitt Romney, the president is leading by only 47 to 45 percent in the realclearpolitics.com average of recent polls. A CBS/New York Times panelback poll, in which interviewers call back respondents to a previous survey, showed Romney leading 46 to 43 percent -- and leading among women.

That's despite the Democrats' charge that Republicans are waging a "war on women" by opposing requirements that all health insurance policies provide free contraceptives. Evidently that's not the only issue on the minds of American women.

Judge Andrew Napolitano: Is There a Drone in Your Backyard?

Earlier this week, the federal government announced that the Air Force might be dispatching drones to a backyard near you. The stated purpose of these spies in the sky is to assist local police to find missing persons or kidnap victims, or to chase bad guys. If the drone operator sees you doing anything of interest (Is your fertilizer for the roses or to fuel a bomb? Is that Sudafed for your cold or your meth habit? Are you smoking in front of your kids?), the feds say they may take a picture of you and keep it. The feds predict that they will dispatch or authorize about 30,000 of these unmanned aerial vehicles across America in the next 10 years.

Rush Limbaugh: Joe Biden Goes Nuts in Ohio

So Joe Biden is off the reservation.  A little Elizabeth Warren lingo there.  Joe Biden is just going nuts.  Two days in a row now he's gone nuts.  I told Cookie I want the Biden sound bites from yesterday, because you know what I saw, we played these Biden sound bites where he was going nuts yesterday: (imitating Biden) "People don't get us!  What do you mean we don't want people to get wealthy?" When you see Biden's face, when you see his eyes, when you see the facial expressions... well, I wouldn't call it demonic.  I'd call it deranged.  I mean it's astounding.
